See if I care, he yells whilst clearly caring a bunch.
Ahem so uhh for anyone who's been with this since the last version (thank you loads, by the way, I dunno how you put up with my nonsense) this will probably elicit a massive groan and a few eye rolls but I am thinking of changing the artstyle. Again. Because this one is too damn time consuming and it's making me sad.
I'll be clear that I do not intend to reboot no sir, that was a terrible idea in the first place. I probably will go for the change, I just want to put this forwards first and see if anyone would really really hate it if I switched to this.
I redrew a couple of the first pages, take a look. If anyone's gonna be seriously annoyed or sad if I do this, I can reconsider.
But yeah, I can knock out a Dylan in this style in under half the time it takes for me to draw him now. Just sayin.
TL;DR What do you think of that there style??
hehe sorry for being so indecisive/restless .-.
Oh, and I like the redrawn style, and it sounds practical for you as a creator. Not to say you should waste time redrawing all of the pages. Just move on with the style. Kind of annoying to have to wait for the author to frequently switch between styles.
Yeah, I fully intend to just switch and carry on. If I were to redraw the old pages, it'd be alongside new pages or at the end of the chapter since it takes like half an evening per page. I wouldn't let it interrupt the story.
This kinda looks like Chris is too apathetic even to ask Dylan if he's okay xD
I like this style more, but the new one is nice too. I wouldn't redraw the first pages at all, though; it'd be a waste, since you already put so much effort into them.
B-but consistency! And I kinda like redrawing things, it's so relaxing since all the hard work has been done with layouts and backgrounds and stuff... I don't know, I guess I'll see where it goes :>
If the style right now takes twice as long as the style you want to switch to, definitely switch. It still looks great. I've never been annoyed by the style changes, and I don't think it really bothers other people, judging by the other comments.
Sure, I would like to see him in jail but at least he is not completely unaffected like some trained sociopath although killing your bro with not too much worry and going about your day and lying to your dad takes... wow.
Whatever style works better for you! I am fine with both as long as... pls no reboots :D
He's probably going to wish he was unaffected, the things I've got in store for him... He's pretty good at repressing things though.
Yeah, I will definitely not be rebooting again, I regret the first time. I told myself I'd be more free with changing styles and stuff so it never gets to that point.
There's only so much behaviour that people are going to write off as 'grief-induced'. At least he hasn't said anything incriminating in a fit of rage. Yet.
Also, I see nothing wrong with a sudden shift in styles. Worst case scenario, you can always switch back.
There's REALLY nothing wrong with a shift to an art style that's easier and takes less time.
Also, I rather like the new (maybe) style. Looks like a nice compromise between the current style and your old style.
Whatever you choose will continue to look awesome.

Magnificent Dandelion
It was Dylan's choice to be betrayed and murdered. Jeremy should respect that.

He tried to say something, but Dylan left!

Hehe, I just know I do this kind of thing a lot. And it may not even be the last time. I just get worried about making any kind of decision :')

Yeah, I like the new style :D Most important thing is being able to do it quickly and have fun with it.
Moth
It really is a lot quicker and funner, it's great :D

He's seriously gotta work on his anger management.
I'm quite stunned by just how much quicker this style is. I finished a page in two evenings, much quicker than usual!
Thanks!
