Yeah, he um... accidentally... picked up a cinderblock. ;_;

He was just curious about how heavy it was honest

I think you are good at showing the sheer confusion and disappointment Jerry is experiencing. I guess it is not as much anger as some mix of confusion, betrayal and absurdity.
Heavy ;_;

Dylan, you had ONE job. Jerry previously confessed to him all the stuff he wanted to catch up on very sincerely and... Dylan just says "I do not know." To a question from his bro and why Dylan killed him. Some things never change but Dylan is not helping it :/

12th Sep 2018, 6:12 PM edit | delete | reply

The thing is he's genuinely not sure why he did it

Thank you :} I wrote him more angry in the script but when it came to drawing, it felt more right to make him more upset

Gotcha! I guess that makes sense. Dylan was always such a mess of thoughts and feelings and the whole "I hated Jerry so much." seemed like an easy way out. True.

"I don't know, Jerry. I've...seen things you people wouldn't believe..."

Bonus points for those that get the reference. ;)

I almost just posted "The Matrix" and then... realized it definitely should be Blade Runner.
Unless I am wrong, of course :D

Yep! The one and only "Roy Batty" from Blade Runner. Fun fact, the only dialogue for Rutger Hauer in the original script for that scene (the death of his character) was the phrase, "Time to die," and all of the rest he improvised on the spot. It impressed everyone so much that made the cut. Hauer still considers it one of his finest moments in acting, and in my opinion, he's right. :)

Man I never knew ghosts could cry :^(

13th Sep 2018, 4:38 PM edit | delete | reply

Crying is essential for MY ghosts

14th Sep 2018, 6:40 PM edit | delete | reply

Aha! So when do we get to see Suit Jerry cry? Is that proof he's not a ghost, or have we just not seen it happen yet? Dylan does seem to have that effect on people. ;)

12th Sep 2018, 11:37 PM edit | delete | reply

Dylan are you really trying to deflect even now that you've confessed? Forreal dude? You don't just accidentally pick up a cinderblock and kill your brother with it. 8-)

Realtalk I noticed the blood in Jerry's eye and I am feeling real appreciative right now. Keep up the good bloody work Moth!

13th Sep 2018, 4:58 PM edit | delete | reply

well he didn't go out meaning to kill his brother and even he knows that "I didn't like you very much" is not really a reason to kill someone
So he summarises it as an accident and he doesn't know why ;)

And thank you, o conniseur of bloody eyes ;D

Just wanted to uh, smack him over the head really hard because he's pissed off at him? HMMMMMMMMMMMMM
