Jack Nichols-I mean DYLAN is terrifying when he has a proper place to focus his anger. Also Jerry in protective brother mode has somehow both brightened my day and broken my soul
"There's something strange, in your neighborhood. Who ya gonna call? Sledge hammer!" Oops, I'm mixing up my movies with TV shows. ;D
I'm curious what Dylan can destroy with a sledgehammer that's actually going to do anything about the ghost. Is he bound to an intact object and destroying it will exorcise him? Will it just weaken his range so he can no longer bug Dylan outside the hospital? Or will it cast the ghost into oblivion, tormented for eternity without chance of redemption (not that he seems to be looking for it)?
I will be perfectly clear here, lmao.
DO you need an excuse NOT use a sledge hammer in horror!? I think sledge hammer is THE go-to weapon no matter WHAT is after you. Be it Jason or ghosts or a small insect.
I am actually waiting for a terrible horror movie with a name like Sledge Hammer 911 all about this fact for no particular reason... :D
Well, there's always the lift factor - not everyone can swing a sledge hammer to any great effect. It appears that it's either a lighter weight sledge (2lb maybe?) or Dylan has the strength (and stamina) to swing it fairly effectively. It's not a weapon of speed or elegance though, so there could be times when it just isn't the right tool for the job. :)
Definitely but people also underestimate adrenaline and feats under very high pressure and stress.
For instance, our tendons and muscles have considerable built-in self-limiting safeties to prevent damage, in a survival situation a 120 kg fat person might flip a car and will not feel it until afterwards.
Drunk people also might get this surge of strength they are unaware of until they punch somebody really hard.
That is why I am not questioning ALL the time when a puny student in horror shoots a double-barreled shotgun without damaging their shoulder, haha.
"Heeeere's dylan!"
I snickered.
Then I realized this is really about a guy going "insane" and ghosts haunting his life. So I actually approved of the reference. lmao
Bros unite! First time since forever, haha.
Even if it is not completely kosher between them yet. It has been mentioned previously by others but it really shows how pumped and focused Dylan is and how damn well they actually can care for each other and mostly work together. Like brothers should <3
Ya. Get that bastard!!
Shame it took them so long eh! Will it ever be completely okay between the two of them? Bu yeah it is nice to write them being good to eachother :p Jerry's just not as good at hating people as Dylan heheeh
MOTH I HAVE JUST BINGE READ THE WHOLE SERIES LAST NIGHT AND I THINK I'M GOING TO DIE i literally started crying when Dylan broke down and told Jeremy the truth I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO INVESTED IN A COMIC YOU'RE SUCH AN AMAZING ARTIST AND I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THE WAY YOU LEAD YOUR STORY IS SO GREAT OMG you're the greatest <3

would be a waste for dylan to get squished by a light fixture after jerry went to the trouble of saving him on the cliff :¬)
