I've been tidying up old pages recently, replacing dodgy textures, making sure colours actually meet the lines most of the time, replacing jerry's old jacket with his current one and switching Rob's Nike tracksuit for a currently unnamed brand whose slogan is DON'T DO IT
have a great weekend!
You do not kill your brother because of his drunken arse. You tell Dad or remind him or anything.
But I get it. I know Dylan is just coming up with the first excuse he can since there is nothing else left now. This one is pretty stupid though. You are a bastard and you hated Jerry.
And you cannot be the old Dylan now. Old Dylan was surprisingly convinced he never killed anyone, just killed a problem but this new Dylan is obviously desperate.
Another: "Okay. How to pin this on Jerry yet again."
My assessment anyway. It is not exactly a situation you can just explain with a basic case. Hm.
Oh geez. Apologies then :D
Ah well. Maybe thoughts for some later point, haha.
Thank you! Sometimes happens I start typing before even finishing reading because I always panic I will forget even a bit of thought, lmao.
No mater what, if in story are ghost(s) and protag-kun have problem with bleeding nose there are only 2 explanation for the nose. A) It´s manga with ecchi stuff B) The nose bleed is caused by ghost(s) and not by some after effect after injury
Never seen a 4am except in the finest laboratory conditions, thought their existence in the wild was a myth
Oh, I'm not really worried. I personally wouldn't want to see Dylan punished even in the (likely) case that he did kill Jerry, because... well, it's clear the guy has a big pile of issues. Actually, the whole family has issues. And Dylan is already living in his own self-made hell, so I don't think punishing him is going to help at all with this mess. I was just thinking about how liking him made me want to believe he's innocent, regardless of what the facts may say.
Lesson to be learned here, don't put Bobblit in a jury
"Actually, the whole family has issues."
Not sure how you meant this but you MIGHT be close for real. Let's put aside the boys are not exactly okay. I suspect the point of origin lies with their deceased mother years ago. In what way, I cannot say or even guess for now. Although there is maybe a chance SOMETHING was always in the town but their tale started with their Mom. And then we have "Uncle" Eric or their actual Dad who we know little about but apparently Corey could annoy Jerry with that fact. Unfortunately, that is it. Still, possibilities their family is cursed in some way? Hm.
I'm not sure how I meant it myself either, hahaha
But the family seems to be coping with a lot of stuff and not really opening up to one another. Their mother died but they're not talking about it. Jerry died but they're not talking about it. Dylan had this much resentment piled up against Jerry but it doesn't look like he tried to bring it up or do much about it until it finally exploded. James and Annie seem to be somewhat closer though, and this may tie in with the uncle Eric thing, I don't know, but that's yet more stuff they aren't talking about.
They could use some therapy, that's for sure.
Mm. That is true. The family has been dealt a few heavy blows one after another. There are still several mysteries, their past family relations included. I guess you are suggesting the family just never worked well and never talked about issues. Could be. The supernatural part is sometimes hard to detect and there is no need for it to play a role in every incident.
Yeah, more or less. Not saying there could not be a curse going on too, though. I tend to read the story as if the ghosts exist all only in Dylan's head, but on the other hand they know stuff he couldn't possibly have known, so probably there is something supernatural happening after all... and this family seems to have all the bad luck.
I get ya. I sometimes have a problem with supernatural stuff or magic systems because it is harder to map them to something specific since they really are "whatever I wish can happen" and therefore often there is not one answer until everything important is revealed the rules of the system are public.
That is actually interesting about the ghosts not being real at all and Dylan being a total nutcase talking to himself and being absolutely bonkers.
Ya, the only problem with that is that he seemingly interacted with memories of a dead guy by touching his ghost brother.
The most we actually have (I think) is the church girl saying vaguely that whether ghosts are real or not is up to you to decide. Something to that effect but I might be wrong.

Why the hell didn't he just say, "I threw the block as you turned the corner and I didn't see you"? That would rap this up quite nicely.
Moth
I dunno if jerry would be convinced
He's only a bit of a moron
Venom
Wait, is that not actually happened? Did I misread that scene?

If only Dylan was more brand savvy. The wisdom of that slogan could've saved him from this mess
Moth
why oh why isn't he into knock-off sportswear

Don't worry, he's just having a bad dream about the night of the murder, he doesn't think that's some kind of an excuse
At least not now he doesn't

It's weird how predisposed I am to think that Dylan probably wasn't the real murderer after all, just because I like him. Hmmm.
Also yes Dylan I would also call 5 o'clock in the morning "too late" :P
Moth
I like to wake up at 4am SHARp
Hahaa don't worry, that seems to be a popular opinion. The rest just want Dylan to get punished :}

It took me waay too long to get that the middle panels are an alternative to murdering him.
