Jerry looks so happy, but I can't tell if it's because he's glad Corey would keep something of his even after their fight or because they found evidence against him.
I suppose after Corey found out about Jerry's death and Robin being the suspect, he could have gone to the location of the party and then found the coat.
Also how will (if he even does) Dylan bring up that the coat was left at the party, if he was not there. I guess he could say he saw Jerry leave home with it. ...
Hmm… I'm having a hard time placing the significance of Jerry's jacket as far as it relates to Corey's movements.
Corey was invited to the party, but then turned around and claimed he never wanted to go. If it weren't for how the detectives admitted that everyone being wasted meant that they couldn't get any useful testimony, I'd be under the impression that Corey never showed at all at the party. My working hypothesis is that either someone—maybe Chris—relayed the jacket to Corey, or Corey arrived after the party was over and took it then.
Though, honestly, I'm less suspicious of the jacket as I am the drawer in panel 3. The red item looks like either a cell phone case or a knife.
Agreed. Most of what I wanted to point was already said so here are a couple of additions.
1) I also think that looks like a knife and an object you should notice. If Rob was known for having one and IF that is the same knife then Corey somehow took it from Rob. Does not prove anything but both knives look similar?
2) I am also suspicious of the whole notice board and that extends to Jerry's jacket.
I understand they were good buddies but is not that kind of too obsessive? There is even what looks like a drawing of lungs? And a bunch of diagrams.
Hard to say but if you combine everything weird on the scene, it is almost like a den of some obsessive stalker. And such murders happen.
Another thing, I would return anything that remains of the victim to its parents but Corey is keeping the jacket like some kind of trophy.
Now, again, maybe they were just that good friends but I still think it is a bit too much? Hm.

As I mentioned some pages back, I am mostly suspicious of Corey and Chris because of gut feelings that could be completely wrong!
And the fact that I find this noticeboard with so many photos eerie since plenty of murder mystery stories have the killer being obsessed with the victim in a similar way and did it out of very bizarre notions.
